Namaste. This is the traditional Indian greeting and is delivered with folded hands.  My name is Aparna, and I am the founder of ShopIndia.com. The website was started in 1997, after many people here in the US encouraged me to set up an online presence where they can, with full trust and confidence, experience the treasures from the mystical and magical land of India.  Even after serving thousands of customers, our website continues to be inspired and improved by these people who have continued to offer their thoughtful feedback and testimonials over the past many, many years.

We have focused on providing you with an outstanding experience, which is ethnic in its appeal and professional in its approach. The website attempts to capture the elegance of Indian style, and the diversity of its arts and fabrics.
